Western North Carolina Tenkara Tanuki Boot Camp
Join Luong Tam of Tenkara Tanuki for an exciting 1.5-day Tenkara boot camp on May 17th and 18th in Brevard, North Carolina, in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.
• Saturday, May 17th: Enjoy a full day of presentations and demonstrations at the Mary C. Jenkins Community Center featuring Robert Worthing (Keynote speaker from Tenkara Guides LLC), Amanda Hoffner (Lady Tenkara Bum), Luong Tam of Tenkara Tanuki, and local Tenkara fishing guides.
• Sunday, May 18th: Continue with hands-on workshops and presentations at Headwaters Outfitters in Rosman, NC.
Amanda Hoffner of the Heritage Tenkara Project is organizing the event, building on the success of the Eastern Sierras Boot Camp. She aims to gather anglers from across the country while supporting Western North Carolina’s recovery after Hurricane Helene.
