CONGRATULATIONS to Terry Emmert of Oklahoma, the winner of Tanuki Ninja 2019. It is going to be the very first time for Terry fishing with a tenkara rod.

Our contest was hosted by three different sites: Tenkara Talk, Tenkara Tanuki, Three Rivers Tenkara. In order to optimize fairness, each site picked the winner's number for other sites. Three Rivers Tenkara picked for Tenkara Tanuki, Tenkara Tanuki picked for Tenkara Talk and Tenkara Talk picked for Three Rivers Tenkara. We don't share the email addresses; we only share the number of total entries.

I used a random number generator to pick a number for Tenkara Talk. Jason at Tenkara Talk matched the email address index number that was associated to the winner's name.

I received the winning number for Anthony Naples at Three Rivers Tenkara. Each of us is responsible to inform our contest winners. If you did not win this time, there is an opportunity to get the Ninja rod with a $100 discount for pre-order until April 28th on Indiegogo or on the site. In addition, pre-order customers (project backers) will be able get access to add-on products at up to 56% discount and other accessories and rods.

Tanuki Ninja is the first-ever fishing rod which is featuring in top international design magazines, Yanko Design(Candian) and Japanese Axis web magazine.
